Teaching

Learning is a life-long pursuit. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved to learn — and even more, sharing that learning with others. I’ve taught in a variety of contexts over the years, including graduate school classrooms, leadership training programs, town halls, and national conferences.

Most recently, I’ve taught workshops and seminars within higher education, focusing on communication and multimedia skills. One popular seminar, Video Storytelling, was featured during the Harvard Graduate School of Education’s January Term from 2015-2019, and served as an empowering hands-on video creation experience for students of all skill levels.

Here are some examples of workshops I offer:

  • Video Storytelling

  • Interviewing on Camera

  • Storytelling: Using Narrative to Reflect and Inspire

  • Creating Great Video (on a budget)

I offer customized programs, from hour-long presentations to multi-day workshops. If you’re interested in creating an unforgettable learning experience for your organization, please get in touch!

Here’s a look inside the Video Storytelling experience, from the very first time the course was featured at the Harvard Graduate School of Education in 2015. You can read about the experience, see photos from the seminar, and watch the students’ final projects.
